About Us

Who are we: Gullah Geechee Candle Co. specializes in reminding our customers of “feel good” memories through the sense of smell! We are based out of Central Florida and our focus is on producing a quality product by making our hand poured 100% soy candles in small batches.  Our President, Tory Brown, is a Charleston, SC native Gullah Geechee Girl.  Tory and her husband Sam, who is a Gullah Geechee Guy, met in high school and grew up together making and sharing memories with their Grammas. They developed many fond memories over the years and a few we share in our Grammas’ line of fragrances are:

• Tory’s Gramma Bell sharing her Pinduh (Peanut) Brittle, the sweet, crunchy, roasted peanut-ty, sticky goodness always brought a smile to Tory’s face and still does to this day!
• Sam cuddling in his Gramma Lala’s Clothesline dried Quilt and the scent of a freshly cleaned cotton soft quilt helping Sam to fall fast asleep.
